Book List

I am always looking for good book suggestions.
You too?
Last year, for the holidays, I gifted many of my friends and family with books I thought they'd enjoy. This year, with this baby expected to be arriving on or around Christmas Eve,
I am thinking that a big order of books from Amazon might be just the ticket
to help me get ready for the holidays extra early.
(My goal is to be done by Thanksgiving)

Here's a list of books I've read so far this year, with a * next to my favorites
or a ** next to my particularly favorite favorites.

(I'm not affiliated with Amazon, I just linked to them so
you could read the synopses, if you're so inclined.)

Do you have any favorite book suggestions to share?

Note: Here's the rest of the list for 2012...

  • The McCloud Home For Wayward Girls by Wendy Delsol
  • No Cheating, No Dying: I Had a Good Marriage. Then I Tried To Make it Better by Elizabeth Weil

  1. hello dear! i recently read cutting for stone...loved it! and edgar sawtelle...did not think it was as good as all the hoopla, but liked it. and now i have forbidden myself to read any fiction (my favorite thing in the world!) until my own book is finished. there. you are the only person that i've told other than matt. yikes. good for you for getting on christmas early!

  2. Yes, Edgar Sawtelle was...interesting. I really enjoyed most of the book, but the ending was soooo disappointing for me!

How exciting Ivey! It's out there now...can't wait to see what you're writing.1`
